Natalie is a board certified exercise physiologist and has been in the health and fitness field for 10 years. She has a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Long Beach State and a Bachelors in Kinesiology from San Francisco State. She has done her graduate work in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University. She is the owner of PURE Fitness; a fitness studio dedicated to serving the needs of independent personal trainers, and helping them succeed.

Natalie began teaching outdoor group classes to her clients in June 2004 by conducting a bridal bootcamp.  Many of her clients (including herself!) where either in a wedding, or getting married themselves. However she quickly adapted a different training style than other bootcamps; in fact she hates the word bootcamp as it implies uniformity. Some people love a bootcamp style workout.  It creates camaraderie and friendly competition to help push you further in your goals. However, it fails to serve people who are in need of something more. People who have sustained any type of injury feel that they can not keep up. Some people who are strong in one area and weak in another might only be getting stronger in those dominate areas and more weak or unstable in those weaker areas. She quickly drew from her years of personal training experience and started handing out individual customized workouts within a group setting. To her delight the clients loved this format! It pushed their bodies in precisely the way they needed. Now, there is no way a group workout can substitute for private one on one work, but we are able to get far better results compared to a traditional uniformed group workout.

PRIVATE ONE ON ONE TRAINING

        Private one on one training consists of you with one fitness professional. Your fitness professional is highly educated and certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and American Council on Exercise. This education assures that you not only receive training to your specific needs but that you do so in a safe manner. Every workout session will be recorded in your Personal Fitness Record (PFR). The Personal Fitness Record shows your progress and allows the fitness professional to quantify your fitness success. 

 SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING

        Semi-private training involves training you with one other person. By adding another individual you increase the personal fitness challenge and have the opportunity to share your experience with a friend. Your trainer will utilize your PFR to customize the session to your needs. 

 GROUP TRAINING

       Group training is a great way to stay motivated in your quest for health and wellness. You will meet your group weekly and be guided through a comprehensive exercise session by your fitness professional. These specialized classes include Mixed Martial Arts, yoga, and outdoor training. Even though you are working in a group, you're routine will be adjusted and customized as necessary according to your personal needs and goals. 

 CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT

       All chiropractic adjustments are done by a certified Doctor of Chiropractic therapy. Our Doctor has ten years of experience in the field and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. The Doctor will have access to your Personal Fitness Record and be able to specifically tailor your therapy.

MASSAGE THERAPY

      Massage therapy offered by OC Outdoor Fitness is administered by our highly experienced massage therapist. Our therapist offers a variety of massage techniques to best relieve your stress and make those sore muscles feel good!
